University Coaching Experience and Academic Performance

The university education process has changed, involving new roles for the student body and teaching staff. While teachers train these functions, it is not case students who are neither prepared group work nor to construct their learning strategy. Coaching can be an essential success factor here. Having been applied in other educational areas, such as coaching, non-educational ones, sports or business this original proposes evaluate effectiveness of a coaching programme academic performance. Therefore, aim measure impact independent variable, hybrid programme, on dependent Trainee Melilla Campus University Granada Spain participated programme. research followed quasi-experimental design with experimental control groups (n = 70 students, n 69 respectively) repeated initial final evaluation measurements (pre-treatment post-treatment). professor conducted performance evaluations. was increased compared that one, considering significant differences concerning starting point both average marks provided by practices those students. Other works about have highlighted its advantages, although they exclusively focused area like study. This study limitations needs further research. However, concludes trainee enhances practical tasks.
